Joining the AI Launchpad offers numerous benefits for startups. Participants gain access to a vibrant community that connects all startups across various locations, fostering collaboration and networking. The centralized platform facilitates knowledge sharing, providing access to shared resources and insights from all participating hubs. Startups also benefit from the expertise of world-class experts and successful entrepreneurs who offer guidance and mentorship. Additionally, the program provides tailored support to help transform AI technologies into marketable products and services, paving the way for successful VC-fundable startups with global potential.
There are currently 6 participating partner hubs offering local accelerators. Please refer to this site to decide which hub might be best for you. Each hub is also linked to a website, where you can find more information. Should you still have questions, please contact the local hub representatives or the AI Launchpad under entrepreneurship@ethz.ch.
The AI Launchpad is designed for teams of 2-4 entrepreneurial students or researchers currently completing higher education at a European university. It is ideal for those aiming to transform AI technologies into marketable products or services. The goal is to launch a VC-fundable startup with the potential for European and global reach. Participants should be passionate about developing innovative AI solutions and committed to navigating the journey from concept to successful startup.
An initial team of 2 - 4 students / researchers should be formed. You do not need to have an incorporated company but shoud have a clear understanding of your product.
The AI Launchpad program lasts for about 12 weeks. These times can vary a bit depending on which hub you will be part of. The accelerator is followed by a 2-week market entry camp at another hub.
You will receive tailored support, including mentorship from AI experts, access to advanced resources, and participation in workshops and networking events. Furthermore, each hub might offer additional support in terms of funding, housing and GPU access.
Yes, the program culminates in a common demo day where startups can showcase their progress and innovations to a broad audience, including potential investors and industry leaders. For this demo day all participating start-ups from all hubs will come together at one place.
